No Call, No Show Policy
K&P Medical Transport – No Call, No Show Policy Purpose: To ensure timely and efficient service for all clients, K&P Medical Transport has established the following policy regarding missed appointments without prior notice.
Policy Details
1. Scheduling and Deposit Requirement:
When booking a transport, clients are required to pay a $25 deposit + 3.5% Credit Card fee at the time of scheduling.
This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, unless K&P cancels the appointment due to force majeure (See Force Majeure Clause below).
Upon successful completion of the scheduled transport, the $25 deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the transport.
2. No Call, No Show Definition:
A No Call, No Show occurs when: The client fails to appear for the scheduled transport without prior notice, OR The client does not contact K&P Medical Transport to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
3. Consequences of No Call, No Show:
If a client does not call or does not show up for their scheduled transport, the $25 + 3.5% Credit Card fee deposit will be forfeited.
The client will be required to pay a new deposit for any future bookings.
Repeated No Call, No Show incidents may result in suspension of service at K&P Medical Transport’s discretion.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment without penalty if they notify K&P Medical Transport at least 24 hours in advance.
Failure to provide timely notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.
Acknowledgment
By scheduling a transport with K&P Medical Transport, clients agree to abide by this No Call, No Show Policy.
Force Majeure Clause
K&P Medical Transport shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing scheduled transportation services when such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
• Severe Weather Conditions (e.g., snowstorms, flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes)
• Natural Disasters (e.g., earthquakes, fires)
• Public Health Emergencies (e.g., pandemics, government-imposed travel restrictions)
• Mechanical Failures or unexpected breakdowns of transport vehicles
• Road Closures or Traffic Accidents that prevent timely arrival
• Government Actions or Regulations that restrict operations
• Acts of God, civil disturbances, or other unforeseen events beyond K&P Medical Transport’s control In such cases, K&P Medical Transport reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the transport without penalty. Any deposits paid will remain subject to the terms outlined in the company’s cancellation policy.
